Crazy Jug Point

Greener, cooler, and different from Alstrom point. Getting here was gentle, alongside grassy fields, pine forests and cows. Like going to grandma's house. Also remote. A chance to relax and do some yoga and read on the edge of a cliff.

Camp was shady, and I made dinner. Veggies :-) The steak went bad bc something happened with the fridge battery, and it wasn't keeping cool enough. Somehow, the wine didn't go bad in the heat though!
Can you see the fire in the distance? Our only visitor that day was a gentleman who was stopping by on the way home from supporting the firefighters nearby. The southwest was just beginning to burn. Summer of 2020 was proving to be no less of a dramatic show than spring. It was nice not wearing a mask for days out here in the wilderness.
Driving out we encountered a road closure because of the fires- I appreciated the GPS map we had. Even still, there was a bit of guessing and conjecturing as some of the labels weren't clear. It all worked out though. As it does. Coral Pink Sand Dunes National Park
